Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chocolate Pudding Ingredients:
  2. 40 grams cocoa powder
  3. 600 ml whole milk
  4. 115 grams sugar
  5. 3 tbsp corn starch
  6. 2 tsp vanilla extract
  7. 1 egg
  8. 1/4 tsp Salt
  9. Vanilla Pudding Ingredients:
  10. 40 grams sugar
  11. 3 tbsp corn starch
  12. 1 egg
  13. 2 tsp vanilla extract
  14. 1/4 tsp salt
  15. 600 ml whole milk

Instructions

  1. Start by making the vanilla pudding. Take a bowl and mix together the ingredients, sugar, cornstarch and salt. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and add 100 ml of milk and stir well.
  2. Now slowly pour the milk mixture over the cornstarch mixture and whisk it well. Set this aside and heat the rest of the milk.
  3. In a pan, pour the rest of the milk and bring it to a boil. Then remove it from the from the heat, gradually add the set aside mixture over the hot milk while whisking continually.
  4. Now place this mixture on a medium heat and cook while stirring constantly till the mixture thickens. Remove this pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Repeat this procedure to prepare the chocolate pudding as well.
  6. Once both the puddings are cooked, pour them alternately into serving glasses. Place a plastic wrap directly on top of each glass and let them chill in the refrigerator for 2 -3 hours.
  7. Serve it chilled with grated chocolate on top.
