Cheesy Jalapeno Poppers

Ingredients to make Cheesy Jalapeno Poppers

  • 300g Jalapeños
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 200g Cream cheese
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Oil for Deep frying

How to make Cheesy Jalapeno Poppers

  1. Slit length wise but not fully and remove the seeds of the jalapeños.
  2. Mix the oregano and the cream cheese. Fill in the jalapeños with this mixture.
  3. Mix the milk and egg with pepper and salt in a bowl.
  4. Coat the jalapeños in the flour mixture followed by the egg mixture and then the bread crumbs
  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan, fry the jalapeños until golden brown
  6. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil
  7. Serve hot with sauce.
