Ingredients to make Maguro Akami Roll

  • Spicy Tuna Mix - 50 gms
  • Cucumber - 1/2
  • sesame seed - 1/2 tsp
  • Sushi Rice 100 gms
  • Noori Sheet - 1
  • Pickled Ginger - 3/4 tsp
  • Soy Sauce 4 ml
  • Wasabi Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • For the SUSHI RICE:
  • Sushi Rice - 200 gms
  • Sushi Vinegar - 50 ml
  • For the SUSHI VINEGAR:
  • Rice Vinegar - 600 ml
  • Sugar - 300 gms
  • Salt - 100 gms
  • Konbu - 10 gms
  • For the SPICY TUNA MIX:
  • Tuna - 300 gms
  • Shallot - 25 gms
  • Scallion - 25 gms
  • Spicy Mayonnaise - 100 gms

How to make Maguro Akami Roll

  1. For sushi rice - mix sushi vinegar with the cooked sushi rice.
  2. For spicy tuna- mix all the ingredients of spicy tuna mix.
  3. Place noori sheet length wise towards you spread the rice evenly , turn it around place the mixture of tuna evenly length wise
  4. Roll it and serve it with gari and wasabi.
