ABOUT Lemon icebox pie RECIPE

A perfect american pie recipe which is sure to be a hit at your dinner party.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 10-12 graham cracker crumbs (You can substitute this with cookies, wafers or crunchy cereal)
  2. 30 grams light or dark brown sugar
  3. 6 tbsp butter, unsalted and melted
  4. A pinch of salt
  5. Filling Ingredients:
  6. 240 ml cream cheese, softened
  7. 125 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  8. 1 tbsp lemon zest
  9. 400 ml sweet condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl and mix in the first four ingredients. Then take a 9 inch pie pan and press this mixture evenly onto it. Refrigerate this pan for 1 hour.
  2. In a separate large bowl, add in the filling ingredients and beat it till it is smooth. Spread this mixture evenly on top of the crust. Then let this pie refrigerate for another 4 hours.
  3. Serve this pie chilled for best taste.
