Amranth tea time snack is very nutritious and healthy snack.Amranth grains are used in this as main ingredient along with other healthy ingredients rich in vitamins and minerals.Amaranth is rich source of proteins, dietry fiber and some dietry minerals.It also contains good amount of folic acid.Ihis tea time snack is also taken by many people who want to lose weight by dietry means.Two to three tablespoons are taken instead of biscuits.I keep this in my stock as everyone at my place is fond of it.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Amaranth 4 cups
  2. Brown sugar 6 table spoons
  3. Lotus seeds 2 cups
  4. Sunflower seeds 1 cup dry roasted
  5. Dry dates 12 to 15 cut into long thin slices
  6. Puffed rice 3/4 cup roasted
  7. Meethe makhane 15 to 20
  8. Kale chane roasted 20 to 25

Instructions

  1. Dry roast amaranth with 3 table spoons of brown sugar.so that it becomes little caramelised.
  2. Dry roast lotus seeds with 3 table spoons of brown sugar in same way
  3. Now mix all ingredients in a nice way.
  4. Store it in an air tight container.
