ABOUT Sabudana / sago dosa RECIPE

I came up with this sago dosa recipe today. This recipe of mine is quicker than available recipes. It yields yummy doses. Do give it a try.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Sago /Sabudana 1/2 cup
  2. Buckwheat flour 2 tablespoons
  3. Curd /dahi 2 Tablespoons
  4. Water 1/2 cup
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Little oil to grease the griddle or tava

Instructions

  1. Wash and Soak Sago minimum for four hours or overnight in water one inch above .Sago will become fluffy and dry
  2. Take sago with buckwheat flour, curd and water in a grinder jar and grind to smooth paste
  3. Rest the grinded mixture for 15 to 20 minutes
  4. Afer giving rest add salt and mix
  5. Take a nonstick griddle or tava. Rub it lightly with oil(do not use much oil) and spread 2 to 3 serving spoons full evenly on cold tava or griddle and cook on high heat.
  6. Turn carefully after one side is cooked completely with the help of spatula and cook both the sides nicely
  7. Enjoy with the chutney or podi of your choice. I had it with dry fruits and seeds podi. Tasted yummy.
