Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Gram flour/besan - 2 cup
  2. Sugar - 2 cup
  3. Water - 1 cup
  4. Clarified butter - 1 cup
  5. Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  6. Crushed cashewnuts - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat clarified butter in a pan.
  2. Roast the gram flour on medium flame until golden in color and give out the fragrance.
  3. After stiring for 10 - 15 mins turn off the flame and keep aside.
  4. In the same. pan heat sugar and water and bring to boil till sugar dissolves and get two and half thread consistency
  5. Mix the roasted gram flour in the sugar syrup beat until it forms flakes.
  6. Pour into greased plate.
  7. Sprinkle crushed cashew nuts.
  8. After half an hour cut into diamond shape
