ABOUT Poppy seeds flavoured Coconut milk RECIPE

This recipe acts like a medicine for people with too much body heat, stomach burns and ulcer. This doesnt need any cooking process. It has goodness of coconut milk and poppy seeds. It goes well with idli, idiappam, appam and chapathi.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  2. 1/4 cup coconut
  3. Cardamon 2
  4. Sugar 3 tsp
  5. Milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dry roast 1/4 cup poppy seeds
  2. Rinse and drain poppy seeds to remove fine dust and impurities
  3. Grind 1/4 cup coconut in a blender
  4. Add peeled cardamon seeds
  5. Add Poppy seeds and sugar
  6. You can also add boiled milk which is at room temperature. It's optional step.
  7. Grind and strain the mixture. Repeat the process to get thin coconut poppy seeds extract. You can add more sugar if you need more sweetness.
  8. Serve chilled
