ABOUT Honey Lemon Ginger Tea RECIPE

This tea is very good for colds, coughs and sore throats. Have it just any time you have an urge for a delicious warm drink with added benefits.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ginger - 2 tbsp
  2. Fresh Lemon juice - 2 tbsp
  3. Honey - 2 tbsp or as desired
  4. Water - 2 cups
  5. Choice of tea bags - 2 (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat water in a sauce pan, add in freshly grated ginger. Turn off the flame as the water boils and cover with a lid.
  2. Let the ginger steep for 2 minutes, strain this liquid in serving cups. Add in the tea bags if using any.
  3. Add in honey and fresh lemon juice, stir to dissolve and have it hot.

Ma'am, we oft hear that honey shd not be added to hot liquid. Is it okay to add in this case?
