ABOUT Sabudana Waffles RECIPE

Sabudana Waffles Recipe is a navraatri fasting recipe which is healthy, tasty and crispy. This recipe is very easy and can be made in minutes.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Sabudana – 1 Cup (Washed and soaked for 4-5 hours or overnight in water)
  2. Potatoes – 2 (boiled, peeled and mashed)
  3. Roasted Cumin Powder – ¼ tsp
  4. Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
  5. Green chilies – 2 (finely chopped)
  6. Fresh Coriander Leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
  7. Lime Juice – ½ tbsp
  8. Salt – to taste
  9. Oil or butter – for greasing the waffle iron

Instructions

  1. Take a large mouth bowl and combine all the ingredients except oil.
  2. Form the mixture into small sized balls
  3. Grease waffle iron with oil or butter. Flatten the sabudana mixture ball lightly and put it on the preheated waffle iron.
  4. Cover and cook it for 7 minutes or until it turn golden in colour.
  5. Repeat the process for making more sabudana waffles.
  6. Serve hot with curd or dhaniya pudina chutney.
