ABOUT Rice French fries RECIPE

This recipe is different from regular french fries which is made of potato.Its crispier than regular potato fries and remain crispy for longer time

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup rice flour
  2. 2 cups vegetable stock
  3. Salt and pepper to taste
  4. 1 tsp butter
  5. 1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
  6. Oil for frying
  7. For mayo dip
  8. 2 tsp sweet chilli sauce
  9. 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  10. Few drops of lemon juice
  11. 1/2 tsp white pepper powder
  12. For vegetable stock
  13. 3 cups of water
  14. 1 tsp chopped garlic
  15. 2 tomatoes chopped
  16. 1 Carrot chopped
  17. 1 bay leaf
  18. 7-8 peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Heat a sauce pan . To this add all the ingredients of vegetable stock.and.let it summer for 20 minutes. Strain it and heat stock in the same sauce pan.
  2. Add butter to stock .
  3. Then add rice flour to stock and mix well till it becomes like dough
  4. Pat this mixture in.a.greased.yin and let it cool down. Can.also keep in fridge
  5. Now cut this in shape of French fries and coat it with rice flour or corn flour
  6. Keep the coated French fries in fridge for 2 hrs
  7. Now fry these till crisp brown
  8. Keep it on absorbent papet
  9. For chilli dip mix all the ingredients and check seasoning
  10. Serve with green coriander chutney (optional)and chilli mayo dip
