Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 cup besan
  2. 3 tbsp curd
  3. Salt to taste or 1 tbsp around
  4. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  5. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. A pinch or 2 hing
  7. 3 cups water
  8. 4 tomatoes pure
  9. 1 bowl grated cheese
  10. Oil 1 tbsp for greezing
  11. For tempering.... 2 tsp oil
  12. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  13. 1 tsp seesame seeds
  14. 2 green chillies chopped
  15. 2 tbsp water
  16. Few or 2 tbsp coriander leaves for garnishing
  17. For platting... 3 to 4 tomato roses
  18. 6 to 7 tomato circles
  19. Ingredients for surati green chutney.... 1 bunch of coriander leaves
  20. 4 to 5 green chillies fat once medium size
  21. Salted peanuts about 20 to 25
  22. 2 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt
  23. 1 lemon
  24. 1/2 inch ginger
  25. Water 1/4 cup or less just to make paste
  26. Garlic cloves ( 1 whole garlic )

Instructions

  1. Take kadai add gram flour, curd, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing
  2. Now add water continuously stirring continuously to make paste
  3. Now on the fire keep it on medium flame in between add tomato pure and grated cheese
  4. Stir it continuously to avoid burning
  5. Cook till it gets thicken
  6. Then take the backside of the plate and grease it with oil
  7. Now pour the batter about 2 big tbsp and spread evenly
  8. Spread in a way it should not be too thick otherwise the khandvi would not be rolled properly and will broke out
  9. Keep it for cooll upto 2 minutes nd than cut slices with knife and roll it out all
  10. Now for tempering... Take kadai heat oil add mustard seeds, green chillies, seasame seeds, water mix well and pour it on to the khandvis
  11. Now plate it as you like
  12. Serve it with surati green chutney... Process.... Chop all materials roughly
  13. Add all ingredients to the mixer
  14. Grind it to a fine paste
  15. Yummy surati green chutney is ready..
