ABOUT Indo Mexican Golgappe RECIPE

As the name indicates it is a fusion of Indian and Mexican Taste

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Puris :
  2. 1 cup Rice flour
  3. Water as per requirement
  4. 1/4 tsp Salt
  5. oil for deep fry
  6. For salsa :
  7. 1 tbsp chopped onion
  8. 1 tbsp tomato chopped
  9. 1 Avocado peeled and mashed
  10. 2 tbsp Frozen Corn
  11. 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  12. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  13. Salt to taste
  14. 1 tsp chat masala

Instructions

  1. For Salsa:
  2. In a bowl mix all the ingredients of salsa and refrigerate it till puris are done
  3. For Puris:
  4. Take flour and add water in batches to make a semi stiff dough
  5. Rest the dough for 5 minutes
  6. Heat oil in a wok for deep frying
  7. Sprinkle some flour on working surface and roll out the dough
  8. With the help of cutter , cut the puris into circle and remove the extra dough
  9. Deep fry these circles on medium to high flame
  10. Drain them on absorbent paper and repeat the process for all the puris
  11. Take out the salsa from Refrigerator
  12. Lightly tap the puri with your finger and pour salsa into it
  13. Relish this fusion Golgappa
