Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For dosa batter
  2. 2 cup Sama rice(soak in water 8 hours)
  3. 1 cup Sabudana(soak in water 8hours)
  4. 1 cup Yogurt
  5. 2, 3 cup water as required
  6. 1 teaspoon green chilli paste
  7. 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  8. Rock salt as per taste
  9. oil for making dosa
  10. For Potato masala(filling)
  11. 2 tsp oil
  12. 4 boiled potatoes
  13. 1 Tsp cumin seed
  14. 1 tsp peanut powder
  15. 1 green chilli chopped
  16. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  17. 2,3 curry leaves
  18. Rock salt as per taste
  19. 1 cup coriander leaves chopped

Instructions

  1. Washed and soak sama rice, sabudana in different utensils for minimum 8 hours or overnight.
  2. Wash the sabudana and sama rice and remove the water.
  3. Grind the sama rice and sabudana separately into a very fine paste.
  4. In a mixing bowl, add sama batter, sabudana batter, yogurt, water, salt, ginger, green chilli paste and mix it well.
  5. Batter should be very thin in consistency.
  6. Now heat the dosa pan.Sprinkle oil on the non stick dosa tava.
  7. Then... rub wet cotton cloth in circular motion on the non stick dosa tava(pan)
  8. Pour the dosa batter on to the pan.
  9. Just move/swirl the pan in circles so that the batter spread well.
  10. Drizzle a few drops of oil and cook it covered for 2 minutes.
  11. For potato masala.... In a pan, heat 2 tsp oil.add cumin seed.then add green chilli, curry leaves, peanut powder, red chilli powder, potato cubes, salt, coriander leaves .cook them 4 to 5 minutes. Potato masala ready
  12. Then place the potato masala(filling) inside the cooked dosa..
  13. Then roll it.Let the falari dosa turn crispy and golden
  14. Farali Dosa is now ready.
  15. Serve Farali Dosa with masala buttermilk..
