Ingredients to make Chatpata Parantha

  • 4 boiled and mashed potato
  • 2Green chilly finely chrushed
  • ginger Small piece crushed
  • garlic 8_9 pods crushed
  • salt to taste
  • wheat flour 2bowl
  • salt to taste for dough
  • 1Tsp ghee for dough
  • water for binding dough
  • oil 1tsp
  • cumin seeds1tsp
  • Curry leaves4-5
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tbsp

How to make Chatpata Parantha

  1. IN 2 CUPS WHEAT FLOUR, ADD SALT TO TASTE
  2. ADD 1 TSP GHEE
  3. KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH USING SUFFICIENT WATER & KEEP ASIDE
  4. ADD 1 TSP MUSTARD SEEDS
  5. ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS INTO 1 TBSP HOT OIL
  6. ADD 4-5 CURRY LEAVES, 2 TBSP GREEN CHILLIES, 1 TBSP GINGER & 8 GARLIC CLOVES
  7. ADD 1/2 TSP TURMERIC & TAKE OFF HEAT
  8. ADD SALT TO TASTE INTO 4 BOILED & MASHED POTATOES
  9. MIX TADKA INTO THIS
  10. ADD 1 TBSP LEMON JUICE
  11. ADD A HANDFUL OF CORIANDER
  12. ROLL OUT A ROTI FROM THE DOUGH
  13. PLACE POTATO MASALA ON TOP & ROLL
  14. ADD 1 TSP TOMATO KETCHUP & ROLL
  15. ADD 1 TSP GREEN CHUTNEY & ROLL
  16. SEAL THE ENDS
  17. FORM A ROUND
  18. COOK IN 1 TSP HOT GHEE
  19. FLIP ONCE IT TURNS GOLDEN
  20. COVER AGAIN & COOK FOR 3-4 MINS ON SLOW HEAT
  21. TOP WITH 1 TBSP CHEESE
  22. GARNISH WITH CORIANDER & SERVE
