cake with no butter no oil and no ghee made out of homemade malai

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Malai 1 cup
  2. All purpose flour/maida 1 1/2 cup
  3. Powdered sugar 1 cup
  4. Cardmom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Curd 1 cup
  6. Milk 1/2 cup
  7. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
  9. White choclate 50 gms
  10. Amul cream 50 grams
  11. Cocoa powder 4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. In one bowl add all purpose flour
  2. Add baking powder
  3. Add baking soda
  4. Add cardamom powder
  5. Seive this 2 times
  6. In other bowl take curd
  7. Add sugar
  8. Add milk
  9. Add malai
  10. Mix till sugar melts
  11. Add this wet mixture to dry one
  12. Mix properly
  13. Grease tin with little ghee and sprinkle maida
  14. Remove extra flour by tapping tin
  15. Now pour batter
  16. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes
  17. Temprature should be 160 degrees
  18. Temprature varies in oven.Check the cake is done after 25 minutes.
  19. Insert a toothpick in the center of the cake
  20. If it comes out clean cake is baked
  21. If not keep for 5-7 minutes more
  22. Cool down cake completely
  23. After cooling ,dust cocoa powder on cake
  24. Keep cream on slow flame
  25. As it boils switch off gas
  26. Add chopped chocolate to cream and leave
  27. Now mix it and cool for sometime
  28. As it cools pour in pipping bag and make design on cake. Malai Cake is ready to serve.
