Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole freshly scrapped coconut 1
  2. Ghee 1 tablespoon
  3. Sugar 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder (optional) 1 teaspoon
  5. Freshly slivered almonds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Scrape a fresh coconut and keep aside
  2. In a wok, put 1tbsp ghee and turn on the flame
  3. Put the scaped coconut into the ghee and roast them for about 2-3 minutes
  4. Add 1/2 cup sugar to it and keep roasting till the sugar is mixed completely and coconut changes its colour slightly
  5. Turn off the flame and mix 1 tsp cardamom powder into the mixture
  6. Let it cool for sometime
  7. Grease your hands and shape the laddoos
  8. Garnish with almond slivers and serve
