Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mava 150 grams
  2. Chenna 75 grams
  3. All purpose flour 2 teaspoon
  4. Sugar 2cup
  5. Water 1 cup
  6. Chopped pistachios for stuffing
  7. Saffron
  8. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Add 75 grams chenna into 150 grams mava
  2. Add 2 teaspoon flour
  3. Mix into a smooth dough
  4. Stuff small portions of dough with a pinch of sliced pistachios and saffron
  5. Cover and shape into balls
  6. Deep fry balls into hot oil on slow heat
  7. When the balls turn golden brown,take off heat and keep aside
  8. Boil 1 cup water with 2 cups sugar and 3 -4 saffron strands,take off heat after minutes
  9. Dip fried balls in the sugar syrup
  10. Serve hot or can be chilled
