Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gram flour 1cup
  2. Rice flour half cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  5. Red chilli powder half teaspoon
  6. Luke warm oil 1 tablespoon
  7. Water
  8. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl add gram flour,rice flour and oil and mix thoroughly
  2. Add the rest of ingredients
  3. Mix all together for 2 -3 minutes
  4. Add water and make a soft dough
  5. Add 3 to 4 drops of oil to the dough
  6. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll it
  7. Flatten the dough and using a bottle lid or bicuit cutter make a shape out of it
  8. Make a cut leaving the edges
  9. Heat oil on a medium flame and fry till golden brown
  10. Fry all papdis well on both the sides
  11. Fry till 3 to 4 minutes well
  12. Crispy yummy Besan Papdi is ready to serve
