Kesar kaju katli is all time favorite royal sweet of India. Prepared purely of cashews.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Cashews 250 grams
  2. Milk powder 4 tablespoons
  3. Sugar 200 grams
  4. Water 100 ml
  5. Milk 2 tablespoon
  6. Saffron 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Silver leaves 3-4

Instructions

  1. Powder 250 grams of cashews
  2. Sieve the cashew powder
  3. Add 2 tablespoon milk powder
  4. Dissolve few saffaron strands in 2 tablespoon of warm milk and keep aside
  5. Boil 200 grams of sugar in 1 cup water till you get a 2 string consistency.
  6. Add saffaron miik and take off the heat
  7. Add the cashew -milk powder mix and rest for 10 minutes
  8. Knead into a dough
  9. Roll out the dough after it is cool on a plastic sheet and rest for 10 minutes
  10. Garnish it with a silver warq and cut into diamond shape
  11. Store it in an airtight container
