Wholewheat Dark Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients to make Wholewheat Dark Chocolate Brownies

  • 65g unsalted Butter room temperature
  • 35g light Olive oil
  • 100g dark Chocolate
  • 100g brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1tsp pure Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • pinch Salt
  • 75g wholeWheat flour {aata}
  • 50g dark Chocolate chips
  • 50g Walnuts chopped

How to make Wholewheat Dark Chocolate Brownies

  1. Take a square 8x8’ baking tin and line it with parchment paper. Preheat your oven at 180C.
  2. Combine butter, oil and chocolate in a bowl and microwave on high for a minute. Whisk until chocolate melts and the mixture turn smooth and shiny.
  3. Now add sugar and whisk well. To this add eggs, whisk and add vanilla extract, baking powder and salt.
  4. Gently fold in the wheat flour using spatula along with dark chocolate chips. Fold in nuts if using them.
  5. Pour the batter in the pre-arranged baking tin and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and cut into squares upon cooling.
