Minty Yogurt Sauce

Simple, creamy middle-eastern dip

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 3 tbsp tahini/sesame paste
  • 2 garlic cloves,
  • 1 green chilli
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped mint
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup of water

Recipe Preparation

  1. Blitz together garlic, mint, coriander and green chillies, in a mixer to a coarse paste. Whisk the coarse paste with the yogurt, tahini, salt and lemon juice.
  2. Add water and thin it down to your preferred consistency. Serve it along with Taamiya/Tameya/Falafel.
