Spicy Grilled Kebabs

Ingredients to make Spicy Grilled Kebabs

  • 500gms Mutton/Chicken mince
  • 1 medium onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli flakes/ 1 Green Chilli, minced
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds, powdered
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds, powdered
  • 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Mint
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive oil for basting
  • Wooden skewers
  • 2 Firm tomatoes to serve on the side

How to make Spicy Grilled Kebabs

  1. Grind the mince in a food processor. Transfer to a large bowl.
  2. Add in the minced onion, ginger-garlic, lemon juice, mint, cumin, coriander, Chilli flakes and salt. Mix to combine thoroughly.
  3. Cover with cling film and leave to marinate in the fridge for 2 hours. Soak skewers in water.
  4. Oil your palms and take a little mixture in your hands, shape onto skewers using more oil if necessary.
  5. Preheat grill or grill over live charcoal. These kebabs can also be pan fried.
  6. Cook the kebabs till golden and tender.
  7. Serve with sliced tomatoes and lemon wedges.
