Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Egg whites - 2
  2. Powderd sugar or icing sugar -250 grams
  3. Red gel food color

Instructions

  1. Take a clean bowl add egg whites and whisk well
  2. Using hand mixer or stand mixer
  3. Whisk slowly allowing small stabilizing bubbles to form
  4. Then increase the speed slowly
  5. Add sugar little by little
  6. Whisk well until it forms stiff peak with glossy mixture
  7. Add red gel colour, just fold through the meringue
  8. Take a disposable pipping bag, brush stripes of red food coloring on the side.
  9. Add the meringue batter
  10. Spoon the meringue in tightly, ensuring there are no airbubbles.
  11. With the sharp scissors, cut the tip of the piping bag to the size of a small coin.
  12. Preheat microwave oven to the 100 degree centigrade
  13. Bake for one hour( 60 minutes) until the base come off the baking paper cleanly.
