ABOUT Eggless Butter Biscuits RECIPE

Crisp butter biscuits are made from whole wheat flour. These have buttery taste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Whole wheat flour 1 cup
  2. Cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  3. Cashew-almond powder 1 teaspoon
  4. Butter 1/2 cup
  5. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Milk 1/4 cup
  7. Sugar 1/2 cup
  8. Few chopped cashew nuts

Instructions

  1. Keep ready all the ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, take whole wheat flour and baking powder.
  3. Add butter and mix well with your hands.
  4. Mix till bread crumb like texture.
  5. Add sugar, cardamom powder, badam-almond powder,cashew nut pieces and mix well . Add milk and mix well.
  6. The dough is ready.
  7. Now preheat the oven at 180 degree centigrade
  8. Take the dough. Now pinch small portions from it and shape them into balls. Press them little with your palms. Place on a baking tray with an inch gap between them.
  9. Bake in pre-heated oven for 20-25 minutes or till the golden colour.
  10. Remove and let them cool.
  11. Once they cool down, place them in an air-tight jar. Serve these with hot tea or coffee.
