ABOUT MINCED LAMB PIE RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. OUTER CRUST
  2. Maida - 1.25 cup
  3. Cold butter- 1/2 cup
  4. Ice cold water - 3 tablespoon
  5. FOR THE FILLING
  6. Minced lamb - 100 grams
  7. Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  8. Paprika powder - 2 teaspoon
  9. Roasted cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  10. Black pepper powder- 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Ground cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
  12. Green peas - 1/2 cup
  13. Capsicum chopped- 3 tablespoon
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with some oil, add chopped onion and saute to golden brown.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste followed by the powdered masalas.
  3. Add the lamb keema and cook on a low flame till half done.
  4. Then add the vegetables and salt , cook further till everything is done . Don't make the mixture fry, keep it little wet.
  5. Keep aside
  6. Then add the ice cold water into the mixture and form a dough,
  7. Chill the dough and roll it using little maida.
  8. Line the pie moulds with the keema filling inside.
  9. Roll the extra dough and cut strips of it.
  10. Cover the pie with the strips and brush with egg wash.
  11. Bake them at 180 degree centigrade in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
