Kids favorite Cake and Chips assembled together to make Melting in mouth Sweet Cake chips. No maida used.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour 125 grams
  2. Soya flour 25 grams
  3. Wheat flour 2 tablespoon
  4. Butter 150 grams
  5. Eggs 2
  6. Powdered Sugar 100 grams + 50 grams
  7. Milk 2 tablespoon
  8. Cinnamon powder 1/2 tablespoon
  9. Dates deseeded and blended 5 ( I used Kimya dates)
  10. Baking Powder 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Sieve both flours with baking powder.
  2. Beat eggs well.
  3. Mix butter and 100 grams sugar with your fingers.
  4. Add the flour. Add beaten eggs.
  5. Add Cinnamon powder.
  6. Add soaked and blended dates to half the flour.
  7. In other half add rest 50 grams of Sugar.
  8. If you feel it difficult to shape you can add milk to your batter.
  9. Adjust consistency which suits to you to pipe out the batter.
  10. Now fill in the piping bag. First we will make Chips with Cinnamon and Sugar combination.
  11. Set a greased parchment paper on a baking tray. ( I applied little ghee as it gives a nice flavor to the baked chips)
  12. Bake in a preheated oven for 5 minutes at 180 degree centigrade
  13. After 5 minutes flip the chips and bake for another 5 minutes.
  14. Let it cool for 3 to 4 minutes. Your melting in mouth chips are ready.
  15. The chips with dates are to be baked very carefully. Add 2 tbsp more flour as to make it crispy.
  16. You can bake it at lower temperature (150 degree centigrade) for 12 minutes.
  17. Or you can bake it at 180 degree centigrade on middle rack for 5 minutes and than on upper rod for another 5 minutes.
  18. You may need to bake a little more if you have scooped and not used piping bag, as it will not be a thin layer.
  19. But if you want little soft for younger kid than 5 minutes twice at 180 degree centigrade is fine.
  20. That will taste like baked Pan cakes.
