Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Flour (maida) 500 grams
  2. Rice flour - 200 grams
  3. Desi ghee - 200 grams can be extra if needed
  4. Castor sugar - 200-300 grams
  5. Cardamom powder - 1 tablespoon or more
  6. Oil for deep frying
  7. Water for kneading

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl put flour add appx 2 -3 teaspoon cardamom powder . 2-pour water little by little n knead and make dough .
  2. Dough should'nt be too soft it shoud be poori dough consistency. Cover the dough and rest it atleast for 1/2 hr. In a seperate bowl mix sugar and rest of caradamom powder.
  3. In another bowl whisk ghee and rice flour till it become little fluffy. Divide the dough in two parts . Grease the area of kitchen slab and with rolling pin roll the dough to thin big round chapati .Make sure to lift in between so it does not stick to the slab.
  4. Now spread the ghee n rice flour mixture nicely all over the round thin and big chapati. Now from one side start rolling the chapati with fingers to make big rolled cigar .stretch a little while rolling. 9
  5. Cut into pieces approxmately 25-30 pieces. Now take one piece layers side up .. press with palms roll again thin like small chapatis. Keep doing with all the pieces . And repeat all the process with another part of dough. Heat the oil and fry each pieces. As soon you take out, coat it with sugar and cardamom mixture from top on both the sides.
