Chicken Tikka

Ingredients to make Chicken Tikka

  • Boneless chicken cut into cubes- 12 pieces
  • 1 egg white
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp zeera powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp tandoori chicken masala powder
  • Red colour- 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice-1
  • (add 1 tsp of each powder in a bowl i.e of garam masala,chaat masala,tandoori,zeera,chilly powder,chicken masala)
  • Onions cubed- 1
  • Capsicum cubed-1
  • Tomato cubed-2
  • Coriander leaves to garnish

How to make Chicken Tikka

  1. Marinate the chicken with egg and all the other spices, also add lemon juice and marinate for 20 minutes then set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven or if you have a coal griller then you can take the skewers. To each skewer, add one diced onion piece, one piece of marinated chicken, one piece of capsicum, one piece of tomato, then apply butter on it and cook on both sides till the chicken is done.
  3. Sprinkle the masala powder on it and serve hot with tomato sauce. Also garnish with coriander leaves as I have done in my presentation.

My Tip:

You can also try cooking paneer the same way, I have named it as Achari Paneer Tikka.
