Paneer bhojai

Ingredients to make Paneer bhojai

  • paneer cut into cubes or stripes- 1 block
  • 8 garlic cloves, grounded
  • 1 tsp of ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp of soya sauce
  • garlic finely chopped- 1 bowl
  • green chillies finely chopped- 1 bowl
  • ginger finely chopped- 1 bowl
  • Green colour- a pinch
  • Ajinomotto- a pinch
  • maida- 1 cup for coating
  • A pinch of turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for cooking
  • A little spring onion, finely chopped
  • 3 green chillies paste
  • coriander leaves to garnish

How to make Paneer bhojai

  1. Take a bowl, add maida, salt, a pinch of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, grinded garlic and green chilli paste and marinate to make a medium batter.
  2. Take a wok, heat oil and fry the marinated paneer till it is light brown in colour and set aside.
  3. Take a wok add 2 tbps of oil, add finely chopped garlic, ginger, green chillies and saute. Then add 1 tsp of soya sauce and fry til the raw smell disappears. Then add ajinomotto, colour, paneer and mix well. Add 1 tsp of pepper powder and garnish it.
  4. Serve hot for best taste.

My Tip:

Since you are adding green chilli paste for the marination, I would suggest to add spice as per taste.
