A variety of deep fries samosas in shapes of little potlis, filles with spicy corn stuffing.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. For the filling :
  2. Onion (chopped) - 1
  3. Boiled corns - 1 cup
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  6. Green chillies (chopped) - 1 teaspoon
  7. Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
  8. Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Garam masala powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Besan (gram flour) - 1 tablespoon
  11. Coriander leaves (chopped) - fistfull
  12. Refined oil
  13. For the dough :
  14. All purpose flour (maida) - 1 cup
  15. Ghee - 2 tablespoon
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. To make the filling, heat a pan with some oil. Add the cumin seeds and chopped green chillies.
  2. Then add the chopped onion and fry till translucent. Now add the salt, ginger garlic paste, powdered masalas.
  3. Saute and then add the boiled corns. Stir for few minutes and then add Besan, saute till it is cooked. Finally add the coriander leaves, mix and leave aside to cool down.
  4. For the dough, add ghee and salt to the flour. Knead a semi soft dough with required amount of water.
  5. Rest the dough for 10 minutes. Then divide the dough into 10 equal sized balls.
  6. Roll out each ball into a tiny roti, put about 1.t tbsp of filling and seal the ends in such a manner that it forms potlis.
  7. Deep fry them in hot oil on a medium to low heat, serve.
