ABOUT Baby Corn Kebab RECIPE

It is an easy recipe using few ingredients available at home. It can be serve as starters or tea time snacks.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Baby corn 8
  2. Potato 3 medium size
  3. Schezwan sauce 1 tablespoon
  4. cornflour 1 tablespoon
  5. Oats 1 tablespoon
  6. Red chilly powder 1/4 teaspoon
  7. Turmeric 1/4 teaspoon
  8. Malwani masala/ tandoori masala 1/2 teaspoon (increase qty as hot you like )
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Cornflakes 1 tablespoon (coarsely groung)
  11. Oil for frying kababs
  12. Green chutney for seving with kababs

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes with sufficient water and 1 teaspoon of salt and allow to cool.
  2. peel and mash potatoes. Add oats, cornflour, red chilly powder , turmeric , malwani masala, salt , schezwan sauce and mix well make a dough.
  3. Divide the mixture in 8 parts. take one baby corn and cover it with one portion of potato mixture (see pic) this way get all kababs ready.
  4. Take cornflakes in a flate plate. Roll kababs on it and deep fry in hot oil.
  5. serve with green chutney .
