ABOUT PANEER CUTLETS RECIPE

Heart shaped paneer cutlets are perfect for a romantic candle light dinner with your valentine.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer ... 1 cup (crumbled)
  2. Potatoes ... 2 medium
  3. Bread crumbs ... 2 tbsps
  4. Anardana powder .. 1/2 tsp
  5. Cumin powder ..... 1/2 tsp
  6. Garam Masala .... 1/4 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder .. 1/4 tsp (you may use green chillies too )
  8. Salt ...... to taste
  9. Coriander leaves .. 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
  10. Oil ... to fry
  11. (For slurry)
  12. Corn Starch ... 1 tbsp
  13. APF / Maida .. 1 tsp
  14. Salt .... a pinch

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes. Peel and mash them.
  2. Crumble the paneer well.
  3. Mix the mashed potatoes, crumbled paneer, coriander leaves, salt and the mentioned spice powders together.
  4. Make heart shaped cutlets using a cutter.
  5. Sprinkle some bread crumbs over them.
  6. Make a thin slurry with corn starch, flour and salt adding sufficient water. This helps in giving a crispy texture and the cutlets will not break when you fry them.
  7. Heat the oil in a pan. Dip each cutlet in the thin batter that you prepared and fry them until crisp.
  8. Serve them hot with any sauce or chutney of your choice.
