Sometimes it seems dry for Toddlers to eat Potato Poha. And sometimes they need some change too. So here is a new version of our favorite Potato Poha.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Potatoes boiled and Mashed 2 ( medium size)
  2. Poha 1 cup
  3. Carrot grated 2
  4. Ginger grated /crushed 1 tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  8. Sesame seeds roasted 1 tsp
  9. Coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tsp
  10. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  11. Sugar 1 tbsp ( Powdered)
  12. Gram flour / maize flour 2 tbsp
  13. Oil 2 tsp
  14. Oil for shallow frying.

Instructions

  1. Wash, soak and drain Poha. ( rice flakes)
  2. Squeeze out water by pressing between palm.
  3. Mix Poha, mashed potatoes, carrots and all masala mentioned above in a bowl.
  4. Add lemon juice and sugar. Check the salt. Add 2 tsp oil.
  5. Now make pattie and shallow fry in nonstick pan.
  6. Serve with Tomato ketchup and a glass of fruit juice.
