An Indian snack made with , potato , cottage cheese and green vegetables.

Vegetable Cutlets

Ingredients to make Vegetable Cutlets

  • 1/4 cup paneer grated
  • 1/4 cup Green peas boiled
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup potato boiled and mashed
  • 1/4 cup spinach chopped
  • 1/4 cup carrot grated
  • 1/4 cup coriander finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp Dried mango powder/Ambur powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste

How to make Vegetable Cutlets

  1. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp oil. Cook ginger paste,carrots, onions and spinach for 2-3 mins.
  2. In a bowl take paneer, mashed potatoes, coriander, green chillies, peas, breadcrumbs. Mix well.
  3. Add cooked vegetable in the bowl followed by salt, dried mango powder, garam masala and red chilli powder.
  4. Mix all of them together. And make small flat balls from it.
  5. Heat some oil in the pan, and shallow fry these cutlets.
  6. Serve it with green chutney.
