ABOUT Methi Pakoda RECIPE

This tongue-tickling treat is just perfect to have with a cup of hot tea in the evening.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Fresh Methi leaves 3/4 cup
  2. Besan 1 cup
  3. 1-2 Green chilli finely chopped
  4. 1/4cup onion chopped
  5. 1/2 tsp turmaric powder
  6. A pinch Asafoetida
  7. Pinch Of Baking Soda
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 1 tspn chopped coriander
  10. Oil for Deep frying
  11. For Serving:
  12. Tomato ketchup
  13. Tea
  14. Fry green chillies

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients and add water as nedded in a deep bowl and mix well
  2. Heat the oil in a pan or kadhai. Drop small spoonful of the mixture into the hot oil, A few at a time, cook on a medium flame till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides and Drain on absorbent paper.
  3. Serve immediately with tomato ketchup,tea ,fry green chillies
