Butter Sauteed Garlic & Herbs Prawn is a very easy recipe and perfect one to go for when you are running out of time. It is not only delicious but quick and simple to make and with full of flavour. This dish doesn’t take much of your time, it takes only 20 mins to get a finger licking delicious prawn. I love the combination of butter, garlic and herbs and it is just amazing with the garlic chilly yogurt dip. I bet it will leave you licking your finger.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Prawn / Shrimp - 250 gms
  2. Garlic - 3 chopped finely
  3. Red Chilly - 2 chopped finely
  4. Coriander leaves - 2 tbsps chopped
  5. Dried Rosemary - ½ tsp
  6. Dried Thyme - ½ tsp
  7. Pepper for seasoning
  8. Salt for seasoning
  9. Butter - 2 tbsps
  10. For Dip:
  11. Thick Curd / Yogurt - ½ cup
  12. Garlic - 2 cloves crushed
  13. Red Chilly - 1 chopped finely
  14. Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
  15. Few lemon zest
  16. Few chopped coriander leaves
  17. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Devien the prawns and wash thoroughly with water. Pat them dry with kitchen towel.
  2. In a non stick pan melt the butter and add the prawns. Saute on high heat for about 5 mins.
  3. Add the dried rosemary and thyme and saute for a min.
  4. Add the garlic, coriander leaves, chilly and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Mix well and saute them on medium heat for 10-12 mins and take off the heat.
  6. In a bowl add the yogurt, crushed garlic, chilly, lemon juice, lemon zest, coriander leaves, season with salt and mix them well. Your dip is ready.
  7. Remove only the prawns in the serving plate.
  8. Add the leftovers in the dipping sauce, mix well and serve with the prawns.

Rosemary and thyme will add an extra flavor to this.
