ABOUT Multigrain Sev RECIPE

Usually i prepare besan sev and ompodi at home. For a change i tried Sev made with Besan, Rice flour, Jowar, Bajra and Ragi flour. It is crispy and tasty. Added curry leaves and groundnuts for extra crunch.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Besan 2 tbsp
  2. Rice flour 2 tbsp
  3. Jowar flour 2 tbsp
  4. Bajra flour 2 tbsp
  5. Ragi flour 2 tbsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Hing 1 pinch
  8. Butter 1 tbsp
  9. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  10. Oil for deep fry
  11. Curry leaves for seasoning
  12. Groundnuts for seasoning

Instructions

  1. Take 2 tbsp Ragi, Rice, Besan, Jowar and Bajra flour
  2. Add 1 tbsp butter, required Turmeric powder, red chilli powder, hing and salt
  3. First mix the ingredients. Then add water to knead a dough. Rest it for 5 mins.
  4. Use Sev maker with small holes disc and deep fry Sev
  5. Fry curry leaves and add it to Sev
  6. Fry Groundnuts and add it Sev
  7. Mix them gently. Time to serve healthy Sev
