ABOUT BENGAN KA BHARTA RECIPE

Bengan ka bharta is south asian dish that originated in punjab and very similar to baba ghanaoush

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 kg eggplant
  2. 1 big chopped in lengthwise onion
  3. 1 tomato chopped
  4. salt as pr taste
  5. 1 tsp chopped chillies
  6. 1/2 tsp red chilly powder
  7. 1/2 tsp garam msala
  8. 2 tbsp coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Grease all bengans with little oil and roast direct on flame till soft.
  2. Peel dead skin of bengan and mash it
  3. Heat oil in kadai and saute onions and tomato till soft
  4. Add salt, chillies, chilly powder, masala and mix well
  5. Add roasted bengan and cook for 5 minutes with cover the lid
  6. Enjoy hot with prantha
