ABOUT Stir fry Allo-Gobhi RECIPE

Stir fry allo gobhi is famous north Indian dish. Very easy to make and can be served with chapati or rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Potato -2
  2. Cauliflower 1
  3. vegetable oil 2 tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  5. Ginger-garlic paste 1 tbsp
  6. Green chillies-2 chopped
  7. Onion -1 chopped
  8. Red chilli powder -1tsp
  9. Turmeric Powder -1/2 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  12. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  13. Coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut the cauliflower into small florets . Rinse them and dip them in hot water for 5 minutes.
  2. Peel and cut potato in small pieces. Wash them.
  3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  4. Add cumin seeds. When it starts crackle then add ginger-garlic paste, onion and green chilli. Stir for a minute.
  5. Now add cauliflower,potato and stir it for 2-3minutes.
  6. Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coriander powder and salt. Mix it . Cover the lid.
  7. Allow the veggies to cook on slow flame and keep stirring it from time to time. Cook it for 10-15 minutes.
  8. In last add garam masala.
  9. Off the flame . Garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati or rice.
