ABOUT Rose Samosa Floating in Red Pond RECIPE

This is my own innovative dish . I stuff gram dal in it which is very healthy in winter season. This is a very easy and yummy dish .Everyone likes it very much at my home .

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Ingredients for dough-
  2. 1 cup maida
  3. 1/2 tspn salt
  4. 1tspn oil
  5. 1tspn corn flour
  6. 1/2 cup lukewarm water
  7. Ingredients for Stuffing-
  8. 1 cup boiled gram dal
  9. 8 flicks of garlic smashed with rolling pin
  10. 2 tspn oil
  11. 1tspn salt
  12. 1 tspn red chilly powder
  13. a pinch of hing
  14. 1/2 tspn garam masala
  15. 1/2 tspn coriander powder
  16. Ingredients for red sauce
  17. 6 tomatoes smashed
  18. 2 tspn beans chopped
  19. 2 tspn oil
  20. 2 pinch hing
  21. 1/2 tspn zeera
  22. 1 tspn salt
  23. 1 tspn red kashmiri chilly powder
  24. 1 tspn coriander powder
  25. 1 tspn garam masala
  26. 2 tspn sugar
  27. Oil for fry

Instructions

  1. Steps for dough-
  2. Mix all ingredients nd knead a soft dough now keep aside it for 10 minutes.
  3. After 10 minutes punch on dough for 2 min .
  4. In mean time making stuffing and sauce
  5. Steps for Stuffing -
  6. Heat oil in a pan
  7. add hing and smashed garlic cook for a while .
  8. Now add boiled gram dal mix and smashed some with spoon .
  9. Now add all spices and mix well and cook for 2 minutes .
  10. Steps for Red Sauce-
  11. Heat oil into a pan then add hing , zeera when it crackled then add smashed tomatoes and. Cook for 4 min .
  12. then add some water and all spices and cook for another 3 min .
  13. Sauce is ready .
  14. Steps for roses-
  15. Take dough make small balls with dough and roll with rolling pin round chapaties of all balls .
  16. Now arrange 3 chapaties in a row shown into pic .
  17. and spread stuffing in center shown in upper pic .
  18. Now fold them and make a rose shape shown in to pic .
  19. Make all roses like this .
  20. Step 3 Steam these roses into steamer for 3 min . And keep aside for 2 minutes.
  21. Now deep fry these steamed roses into hot oil. On low to medium flame. Till golden brown.
  22. Rose samosas ready .
  23. Arranging plate-
  24. Spread 2 tbsp red tomato sauce into a serving plate and put a rose in center of sauce .
