Ingredients to make Neer Mor (Indian Spiced Buttermilk)

  • Curd - 1 cup
  • Water - 1 1/4 cup
  • Green Chillies - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger - 1 small piece (grated)
  • Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
  • Asafoetida - A Pinch
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil - 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Curry Leaves - 1 sprig
  • Asafoetida - A Pinch

How to make Neer Mor (Indian Spiced Buttermilk)

  1. Beat the curd with water. Add chopped chillies, curry leaves, grated ginger, salt and asafoetida.
  2. In a tempering pan, heat oil. Now add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida and let the mixture splutter.
  3. Refrigerate and enjoy chilled.
