ABOUT Khandvo RECIPE

It is one of the gujrati farsans, easy to make and relished by all.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups sooji
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 2 teaspoon ginger finely chopped
  4. 2 teaspoon green chilies finely chopped
  5. 2 medium sized onions finely chopped
  6. 1 teaspoon cumin(jeera)
  7. 2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Edible oil

Instructions

  1. Add sooji , curd and salt together, mix it well and let it rest for 4 to 5 hours.
  2. After the mix 4 to 5 hours , mix onion , ginger and green chillies
  3. Mix the ingredients properly if required add salt
  4. In a pan take some edible oil and put cumin and mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  5. Add the mix to it and cover it with the lid.
  6. Once one side is cooked flip it and let the other side cook.
