ABOUT Mushroom chukka RECIPE

A delicious recipe, easy to make which goes well with Hot rasam Rice or Chapati!

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mushroom (two packets)
  2. Onion 1 sliced in small cubes
  3. Garlic 20 numbers cut in tiny pieces
  4. Curry leaves 2 sprigs
  5. Crushed pepper 1 spoon
  6. For marination:
  7. Red chilli powder 2 tablespoon
  8. Coriander powder 2 tablespoon
  9. Cumin powder 1 teaspoon
  10. Oil 2 tablespoon
  11. Salt as per your taste

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl, add oil, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt. Mix well with spoon and add the mushroom and mix well. Let it rest for 30 mints.
  2. In the meanwhile cut the onions and garlic into small pieces and keep aside.
  3. Crush the pepper and keep aside. Take fresh peppercorns and crush it.
  4. Take kadai and add 1 teaspoon of oil since we had already added oil in marination. Put the curry leaves, garlic. Once the garlic turned golden brown add the onion. The onion should be brown. Add the marinated mushroom and stir well and the water must be evaporated.
  5. Last step is before switching off, add the crushed pepper and serve it with rice or Chapati.
