Ingredients to make Instant Green Chilli Pickle

  • Small green chillies 100 gms
  • salt to taste
  • mustard oil 1/2 cup
  • red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp Methi / fenugreek seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ajwain / carom seeds
  • 2 tsp mustard seeds / rai
  • pinch of hing / asafoetida
  • 1 tsp saunf / saunf
  • Corriender powder 1/2 tsp
  • amchur powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
  • cumin Seeds 1/2 tsp

How to make Instant Green Chilli Pickle

  1. 1. WASH, DRY, REMOVE THE HEAD OF 100 GMS CHILLIES.
  2. 2. SLIT FROM THE CENTRE.
  3. 3. ROAST 1 TSP FENNEL, 2 TSP MUSTARD, 1/2 TSP EACH OF CUMIN, FENUGREEK & Carom.
  4. 4. COOL & DRY GRIND.
  5. 5. HEAT 1/2 CUP MUSTARD OIL, ADD 1/4 TSP ASAFOETIDA & THE CHILLIES, FRY FOR 2 Mins.
  6. 6. ADD 1/4 TSP TURMERIC, 1/2 TSP EACH OF RED CHILLI, AMCHUR & Coriander powder.
  7. 7. ADD POWDERED SPICE MIX.
  8. 8. ADD 1 TSP SALT & MIX.
  9. 9. COOL & STORE IN AN AIR- TIGHT Bottle.

My Tip:

You can use lemon juice in chilli pickle.
