Chane ka saag is a winter Dish.all green leaves are rich source of vitamin b and iron. It taste delicious .You Must try it. It is very easy to make.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chane ka Saag(Greengram leaves) 100 g
  2. Spinach पालक 50 g
  3. Methi leaves 50 g
  4. Maize Flour(makka ka aata ) 2 Tbsp
  5. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  6. RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TBSP
  7. Turmuric Powder 1 Tbsp
  8. Cumin Seeds(Jeera) 1Tbsp
  9. Heeng 1/4 Tbsp
  10. Dry Redd Chilli 4 - 5
  11. Green Moong daal 2 Tbsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Ghee 50 ml

Instructions

  1. Wash Properly all 3 Types of leaves
  2. Put all 3 types of leaves in a cooker with moong daal add Turmuric powder and salt with 200 ml of Water and cook it for 10 minutes on med-high flame.
  3. Cool the Boiled mixture and Grind for 1 Minute and make a coarse Paste.
  4. Take a Pan(Kadai) add 2 tbsp of ghee then add heeng , cumin seeds and chopped Onion with ginger Garlc paste , saute until light brown
  5. Now Add paste in Pan and Mix it well then add maize flour paste (for paste add 50 ml water in maize flour)
  6. Cook it For 10 min on Low-Med flame.
  7. Take a pan for TADKA
  8. Add 2 tbsp Ghee , Cumin seeds and Dry red chilli and 1/2 tbsp of chilli powder.
  9. Pour it On The saag and Cover it for 2 min.then Serve Hot with Makka ki roti.
