Ingredients to make Nargasi fenugreek egg kofta curry

  • 250 gram wheat flour
  • 1 cup boiled fenugreek leaves
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Water for kneading dough
  • 4 boiled eggs
  • for a curry we will require
  • 1 large onion, chopped roughly
  • 2 Chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  • Oil as needed

How to make Nargasi fenugreek egg kofta curry

  2. Take a bowl add wheat flour, add salt , black pepper and oil mix well
  3. Now add boiled fenugreek leaves mix well
  4. Add water make a soft dough keep a side
  5. take a medium sized dough and spread it over your palm. Take your egg, place it in the middle and then using both hands spread the dough around the egg. Try to make sure there are no cracks in the balls. 1 was able to make 4 balls
  6. Once the koftas are ready, heat a small amount of oil in a pan and add the koftas. Fry them very lightly, just until the outsides of the koftas are no longer pink and they begin to hold their shape.
  7. till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides. Drain on absorbent paper
  8. For curry Start by taking onion and garlic and adding it to a pot or pan with oil in it. Saute it till dark brown Then add chopped tomatoes Red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder Ginger and garlic paste Salt to test
  9. Grind all spices in mixie then add yogurt mix well Cook on low flame for 10 minutes
  10. Add 1/2 cup water Bring this water to boil
  11. Add the koftas in a pan Cook on 10 minutes Add the garam massala at end! You can Garnish the koftas and the gravy with fresh coriander leaves. Serve hot with rice! And roti!

My Tip:

I fried also heart shaped snacks from the fenugreek leaves dough As you See the Picture in main post We can serve with hot tea We also consume these for 4 to 5 days You can use gram flour instead of wheat flour
