Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Gram flour 1 tbsp
  3. Semolima 2 tbsp
  4. Fennel powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Baking powder 1 tsp
  10. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  11. Hot oil to knead
  12. Powdered Sugar 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. In a big bowl , mix all the dry ingredients well
  2. Pour the hot oil in the bowl, knead until dough is crumbly. Add in hot water and knead for 10 minutes to make a smooth dough
  3. Keep the dough aside for atleast 1 hr.
  4. Heat gas tandoor on high flame. Make small pedas of the dough.Place these dough pedas on the net of tandoor. Reduce the heat to low
  5. Cook baatis for 10 mins on both sides.Dip cooked baatis in desi ghee and Serve hot with daal or baingan ka bharta.
