About Red beet soup Recipe

Usually beetroot soups are sweet but here is a recipe which is warm and a bit spicy or should we say "Masaledaar"

Red beet soup

Ingredients to make Red beet soup

  • 1/2 large onion
  • 1 big tomato
  • 1 medium sized red beetroot
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tbsp red lentils
  • 1 inch of ginger chopped
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • cheese of your choice
  • Splash of lemon juice
  • splash of lemon juice

How to make Red beet soup

  1. Chop the onion, tomato and beetroot into medium sized pieces and add to the pressure cooker along with the chopped ginger, cloves, lentils, salt and pepper.
  2. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles. Once the pressure is released, open the lid to let the soup cool down a bit. Once cool, blend everything.
  3. Serve hot and granish with some cheese, black pepper and a dash of lemon juice.

My Tip:

If you like your soup to be on the sweeter side add 1/2 tsp of sugar.

This could be the beet root soup recipe that I will find yummy, I have tried and failed many times, but this looks so good :)
