ABOUT Spinach Mousse RECIPE

I always prepare savoury dishes with spinach but this is a unique sweet dish. This recipe is unique because its with spinach, cashewnut, sugar and cream giving it a different texture and brlliant to taste.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Spinach 1 bunch
  2. Milk Powder 2 tbsp
  3. Ghee 1/2 tsp
  4. Sugar 3 tbsp
  5. Cinnamon powder 1/8 tsp
  6. Cashew and almond paste 3 tbsp
  7. Whipped cream 1/2 cup + 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Blanch Spinach and make a thick puree
  2. Heat a Kadai, pour the spinach puree and stir it constantly until it starts to boil.
  3. Now add milk powder , ghee, sugar , cashew nut and almond paste. Mix well. After 3-4 minutes, it will thicken and start leaving sides
  4. Sprinkle cinnamon and allow mixture to cool
  5. Mix spinach mixture with 1/2 cup of whipped cream. Pour it in a shot glasses using a piping bag.
  6. Decorate Mousse with whipped cream and serve
